BE PATIENT:
AN ANTHOLGY COOKBOOK

In celebration of the fifteen year anniversary of Anthology’s sister company Mexican Summer, Be Patient: An Anthology Cookbook was a gathering of recipes from nearly fifty artists, authors, and friends of the label and publisher. In the freewheeling tradition of MoMA’s Artists’ Cookbook and other, more experimental entries in the culinary canon, Be Patient's contents run the conceptual gamut: here are recipes as metaphysical meditations, one-sided conversations, introspective musings, and outright rants. From the straightforward to the surreal, from the indecently delicious to the profoundly inedible, Be Patient stretches the definition of what we’ve been “cooking” to accommodate the spirit as much as the body.
